“That’s good to hear.” Rocco finally calmed down.
“I was able to trace his records to a hospital in Newfort. I’ll send someone to look into the matter further.”
“ALL right.” After a moment’s consideration, Hannah added, “If you can, please get me some photos of him when he was in college.”
“hy?” Rocco asked, clearly confused.
“What do you want with his old photos?”
“I…” Hannah drifted off and inhaled slowly. She wasn’t sure how to explain it.
Rocco, being the precocious kid that he was, was able to put two and two together.
“Are you suspecting that he is not the real Bryson Mitchell? Do you think he has a twin?”
Hannah knew it sounded absurd, but it wasn’t entirely impossible.
“That’s right.”
